ワックスとは？　What is Wax?

矯正装置が頬の粘膜に当たって口内炎ができたときに、その部分を保護するために使うやわらかい素材の保護剤です。そのほかにも、装置が外れたときや、ワイヤーが当たって痛みを感じるときにも使用できます。

Orthodontic wax is a soft material used to cover braces or wires that cause irritation or mouth sores.It also helps if something feels sharp or uncomfortable.

使用方法　How to Use

• 装置の周りをティッシュや綿棒などで拭き、乾燥させてください。
• ワックスを適量取り、指でやさしく丸めてから、装置に押し付けて使用します。

• Dry the area with a tissue or cotton swab.
• Roll the wax into a ball and press it onto the problem area. </aside>

ワックス使用時の注意点　Important

• ワックスは薬ではありません。

  口内炎ができた場合は、市販のお薬と併用することで、より早く治ることがあります。

• 食事や歯磨きの際は、ワックスを取り外してください。

  万が一、誤って飲み込んでしまっても、身体に害はありませんのでご安心ください。
